If you love watercolor and struggle with it and would like to improve your skills and techniques then this is the workshop for you. Though the focus of this 3-day workshop will be on birds it will also be filled with information such as how to get the best design and layout from your images. The importance of value and color and how it strengthens your work will also be covered. How to choose the best colors for creating luminous color that many of us struggle to achieve. Techniques such as using salt to create textures in your subject.
I will be doing several demonstrations throughout the workshop and while I am painting you will be able to ask questions while I am working. After my demonstrations I will be working with each student one on one and helping you work through any issues you are struggling with.
Students who would like to paint along with me will be provided with a line drawing and photo reference to work from. Advanced level painters are encouraged to bring their own drawing and photo to work from.
Cost of this workshop is $250.00 and a deposit of $100.00 is required to secure your space. A more detailed supply list will be provided upon receiving your deposit. Set up for this workshop begins daily at 9:30am and the lecture and demonstration begins at 10am. Bring a brown bag lunch.
